ICPRA 2019 is the 3rd edition of a workshop focusing on Pattern Analysis and Recognition. The workshop comprises invited speaker presentations, oral, poster, tutorial sessions, as well as working group discussions.
ICPRA 2019 will be organized at NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology) in Islamabad.
ICPRA 2019 will include both long and short papers, posters and demonstrations of working or prototype systems. All submissions will undergo a rigorous single blind review process with a minimum of 3 reviews considering the originality of work, the quality of research or analysis of experience, the relevance to document analysis systems, and quality of presentation.

Full papers describing complete works of research (up to 6 pages). They will undergo a rigorous single blind review process with a minimum of 3 reviews considering the originality of work.
Short papers provide an opportunity to report on research in progress and to present novel positions on document analysis systems (up to 2 pages). Short papers will also undergo review and will appear in an extra booklet, not in the official ICPRA2019 proceedings.
Demonstrations of novel systems, to be presented to the workshop as a whole during breaks between paper sessions (up to 2 pages). Demonstration proposals will undergo review and abstracts of accepted demonstrations will appear in the extra ICPRA2019 booklet, as in the case of short papers.
Submission of a paper involves a commitment that, if accepted, one or more authors will attend the workshop. Templates and detailed formatting instructions will be made available here.

Islamabad International Airport is at a drive of 1 hour from the event venue. Shuttle service from the airport to the event venue/major hotels will be provided to the participants. Please provide your arrival details to the organizing committee at least 48 hours before your arrival.
The main entrance of NUST is on Kashmir Highway, which is connected to M1/M2 Motorway on a signal-free corridor.
You can take a cab or call Uber/Careem to reach NUST. It is 15 min (11 Km) from the Margalla Railway Station, Islamabad.
There are several hotels in Islamabad where participants can get accommodation on discounted rates such as Islamabad Serena Hotel (from $275), Ramada Hotel (from $150), Islamabad Club, and Best Western Hotel (from $70). Furthermore, on-campus accommodation will also be available at NUST (from $30). NUST has numerous boarding facilities for students as well as academicians visiting from abroad.

The structure of the proposed registration fee is as follows. The registration fees include the talks, lunches, coffee breaks, social activities and the banquet.
